SCOPE OF PLOTTING IMPLEMANTATION OF INDONESIAN WORKERS
TO OVERSEAS
A. Promotion and Marketing
Activities
PT Sarana Insan Mandiri always depends on UU number 39 TAHUN 2004
date18 Oktober 2004 about PENEMPATAN DAN PERLINDUNGAN TENAGA KERJA
INDONESIA DI LUAR NEGERI, so that in the promotion and marketing
activities, our company always have an orientation to the market
vacancy which is consist in the overseas and specific allocation
control that has been decided by the company. There are some activities
of ourcompany to reveal it, they are:
1. doing identification of the job vacancy in the
overseas by collecting data and accurate information
about the amount of needed workers, criteria of
the jobs and skill which is needed. We have been
supported by internet as interactive communication
media in order to access the need of the exchane
of information between companies which are role
in the plotting of overseas workers around the world.
2. maintainning good cooperation which has been
done profesionally by intensification anf diversification
of international job opportunities.
3. doing road show to the agent or branches in the
selected countries to have a good heart to heart
close relationship, solidarities between countries,
races and relegion by respect as a God creation.
B.
Recruitment and Preparation Activities
Our company has done some steps and accelaration
as we describe below:
1. digging up and looking for potential workers
by collecting data and detail information through
our branches in the region and any local goverment
department which manage the workers and job vacancy
like regional department of workers, local government,
non government organization, the people leaders
in the community and religion and also universities.
2. Doing coordination and cooperation with Balai
Latihan kerja Luar Negeri (BLKLN) to improve the
quality of the employee which has orientation for
the need of international market and has been done
based on standart qualification of the user.
Beside the preparation of the qualified employee
above, the workers that will be plotted by our company
will always have their own motto, like:
• Independent (they can solve their own problems
during the plotting time and where they have to
go to look for protection)
• They are quickly to adopt with the working
condition, culture, weather and the development
of the technology without leaving Indonesian believes,
norm, values and culture.
• Mastering their own job based on their specification
• Understand their right and what they have
to do as a workers
• Always motivated to increase their knowledge
and skill and understanding the daily habitual attitude
of the destination country.
• Having their own motivation to increase
the family that they have been left

The Workers Protection
to realize the plotting activities in the overseas,
the protection for the workers have been given from
the beginning of the plotting to the country that
need their skills. To protect the workers, our company
has done some steps as below:
• After they have been arrived in the destination
country, helped by our company affiliation and the
company that need the skills will report the coming
of the workers to the Indonesian Embassy. This step
is done as means for the existence of the workers
in the destination country as legal workers so that
the embassy will know address of the agent or company
that use the Indonesian workers ability. Finally,
if there are problems facing by the workers, embassy
will take some decision to help them solved the
problems.
• Doing some inspection regularly to the destination
country and build good communication with the agent
for the protection of the workers them selves from
exploitation of their right in their work field.
• Doing coordination and cooperation with
Embassy or the attaché of Indonesian government
in the destination country so that the role of them
will be revealed.
• Doing bilateral cooperation with the agent
through signing Memorandum Of understanding (MoU)
about the plotting of the workers in the destination
country.
• Preparing Lawyer and advocating the workers
if there are some problems related with them if
could not be solved by heart to heart solution.
